DISLOCATION

These images are a result of my aimless wanderings through the city, where I have no predetermined destination in mind. They are purely a collision of the many aspects within the space merged together using the city’s reflective surfaces. These collisions, or accidents, dislocate parts of the city from their original contexts, where historic buildings are forced into modern shopping centres and mannequins are brought out into the street. Not only do these images depict what is directly in front of me, but they also show other factors that would normally be beyond the camera’s frame.
